C31, Melbourne’s rapidly growing community TV Station is searching for a Graphic Designer for TV, Web & Print media. This position will be responsible for the design and production of graphic material for print, video, television as well as web programming and multimedia skills.

Requirements

* Experience in graphic design for TV promos, station ID’s and TV Specials
* Strong experience in the design and programming of web sites and interactive streaming
* Experience in design of print material
* Technical experience with Macintosh and PC’s with the following applications:
o QuarkXpress
o InDesign
o PhotoShop
o Illustrator
o Dreamweaver
o Flash
o Acrobat
o After Effects
o Microsoft Office inc. Outlook, Word & Excel
o Web development technologies including those involved in streaming video, html & php
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Multi-tasking and time management skills
* Has the ability to think creatively
* Work under deadlines and handles multiple projects effectively
* Producing new ideas and concepts

Responsibilities

* Develops design briefs;
* Develop drafts and manuscripts of all visual materials;
* Design, development and maintenance of the C31 website;
* Creates illustrations, charts, pictures and graphs to provide visual support to presentations for sales, marketing and educational purposes;
* Presents finalised ideas and concepts to clients and/or staff;
* Creates and develops web promos in parallel with broadcast promos;
* Oversees / Art directs photographic shoots and video capture scenarios;
* Event and illustrative photography;
* Flexibly assists with answering general enquiries, via phone and face-to-face;

This position is a part of a dynamic and passionate team, is full-time and the salary is approximately $40K plus super.
